“Have your body anointed in essential oils and Lift your soul". "Go and learn the Power and the Truth of Good Meditation”. “Take time to treat yourself to the pleasures of self indulgence”. So to get my friend off my back, I went and had the massage, and guess what, it was great. It had been years since my previous massage and I had never had a massage just for the sake of enjoying it. Then I indulged in taking more time for myself. My friend introduced me to the incredible wonders of Meditation. She allowed me to experience the wonders and the magic put together by the people at Centerpointe I am still using the meditation programme, it is great for the energy of my mind and soul and remains part of my Depression Management tool box. I recommend that you should give yourself permission to take a little pampering to remove some of the the dramas of the day. I recommend everyone should take the time to be pampered. We deserve it You will find that even as little as thirty minutes of massage on a weekly basis can help rejuvenate so much of your broken energy. And, an hour is even better. I start or finish each day with some Meditation. I give myself time for myself and I listen to the meditation CDs, I follow the Centerpointe Programme. It works for me. Encourage the power of your mind to build. Show your mind and your emotions you do care about yourself. Show your mind and inner self you know you are worthy. A good massage given by a professional masseuse will fill you with revitalised energy. It is a wonderful and very sensual way to work with Depression management. Better still is a sensual massage given to you by your lover, it will encourage you to open your feelings and senses to even more pleasure. Specially blended Aromatherapy Oils will help heighten your sensors. Indulge in a sensuous head, neck and shoulders massage or a full body work-over. When you combine its effects with the seduction of gentle candle light, soft music and the luxuriant properties of essential oils, your mind and soul will thank you. And do not forget the sensual influences of a great foot massage. My therapist never mentioned this form of Depression Management! To calm my mind I use a blend of one or two drops of essential oil floating on toxin free rain water in my favourite oil burner. One recipe I enjoy is 2 drops of Neroli with 3 drops of Lavender. I like to place the oil burner near a sunlit window of the room where the warm air movement will carry the perfume to me. My masseuse now indulges me with a blend of one or two drops of essential oil suited for my mood at the time. As our senses respond differently to different energies in essential oil subject to daily influences in our life, we begin to have our own favourite oils. Someday, I like to mix a little sweet almond oil with a blend of Lavender, Geranium and Rose. I only use one or two drops of essential oil in my massage oil because I find if the fragrance is to strong my senses can become overwhelmed from their influence.
If the mix is right I will feel myself relaxing and drifting off with their calming, balancing and nurturing energies.Another blend I enjoy is a subtle mix of sweet almond and jojoba base oil mixed with 1 drop of Frankincense, 1 drop of Bergamot and 1 drop of Jasmine to boost my energy and give myself a feeling of inspiration. The saying “we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders” is so true. When I am stressed, worried or just feeling overwhelmed with life’s pressures or need that little extra bit of Depression management, I seek a good shoulders and neck massage. It can work miracles for me. A wonderful 15 minutes of shoulder, neck and head massaging will have me purring and 30 minutes will have me ready for anything that comes my way. I will sometimes release emotional and physical tensions with a blend of 1 drop of Clary Sage, 1 drop of Sandalwood and 1 drop of Ylang Ylang in a favourite base oil. In my base oil I add 2 drops of warming Ginger, 1 drops of Black Pepper and 1 drop of Ylang Ylang to help stimulate and loosen stiff shoulder joints. Or, double the mix for a full body work over. Other times I will use a blend of 2 to 3 drops of Cedarwood, Black Pepper and Orange essential oils in my base oil mix of jojoba and sweet almond for a good full body massage. Enjoy and relax, encourage you mind, soul and body to be pampered. Before long you will find yourself looking for the pampering on a very regular basis. Share your pleasure with your partner and other worthwhile rewards may flow between you. Your communication levels will be stimulated between each other and a fresh bonding may even develop. The more you get. The more you want. Show your mind the power of pleasure and show it you care for your own self worth. Show your mind you have the power to exercise Depression Management.
