The list of actions you can take to rebuild your self esteem is huge.
But, good Cognitive Therapy is probably the place to start and this tool should be put towards the top of your list.
For YOU to successfully stop any negative action, YOU must gain control and create an equal but opposite positive reaction.
Who was that guy who said something like that after the apple hit him on the head all those years ago? Sir Isaac ………. (Who?)
Cognitive behavior therapy is one way for You to turn the ‘dark side’ - the negative power of your mind - into strong, good, warm positive power.
You need to nurture the good, the positive, and the truthful power of your mind.
You need to work with it, encourage it and build it. Love it like a true, new love affair. Oops shit that is scary, oh well what the hell, just do it ;o)

You do not need to do it alone, you are not out there by yourself.
But you do need to ask for help.
Your friends are there! Allow them to share with you. Even their good energy can deliver some of the power of positive cognitive power, fell it, relax with it, and use it when it is offered.
If you are not prepared to ASK for help! Nobody will be able to reach you to help you find the switch that turns the light on. Not even you, yourself.
You are a bloke. One of your first steps on the road to recovery is to ALLOW yourself to ASK for help.
Actually guys it is the same for women, it is just that they know how to ask earlier.
As soon as your mind feels you asking for help, your mind knows you are ready and open to allow that help into your energy forces and the healing can begin.
Now you can turn your garbage into energy (and that is not methane?).
Try using cognitive behavior therapy in your search for help and turn the bad into good.
